Cafe Gui is a new eatery serving a delicious combination of Japanese and Korean cuisine as well as affordable brunches in a cosy environment.
The minimalist cafe is located at Royal Square Novena. Decked out in an all-white interior, white tables, wooden chairs, colourful flowers and cat-inspired artwork, in honour of the owner’s late cat…it’s the perfect lunch hideaway.
Diners can enjoy an extensive menu from breakfast to dinner. Highlights include the Korean-inspired Dosirak Rice Bowl, consisting of Korean spam, runny eggs, rice and kimchi carefully placed in a golden platter. Plus, plenty of hearty dishes such as Korean Bibim Guksu, Japanese or Korean Ramen, Sweet Potato Fries and Grilled Chicken Skewers, to name a few.
Dessert lovers can order exclusive puddings at Cafe Gui. For example, the Black Soy Pudding inspired by Korea or Japanese Hojicha. While some beverages come in cat-themed cups adding to the aesthetic. Be sure to try the stellar Dalgona Honeycomb, with whipped espresso and honeycomb blocks.
