Café Natsu is another gorgeous Japanese eatery launched in Singapore. Brought to you by the folks behind the likes of The Dragon Chamber, they specialise in fusion brunches and dinners with a Japanese flair.
Located at Joo Chiat, this dreamy café is set in a sleek modern space, complete with warm colours, marble tables, cosy deep green couches, wooden tones and other fixtures. Certainly, an instagrammable café to add to this list.
THE FOOD
Diners can expect contemporary comfort dishes merging Japanese ingredients and European cuisine. For instance, brunch offers western classics with a unique Japanese touch by Chef Paul and the team.
Brunch highlights include Benedict ($28) with a Japanese twist, Souffle Pancakes ($23) topped with almond ice cream and the Breakfast Plate ($28) featuring kurobuta sausage, maitake, sweet potato hash room and more.
Plus, there’s a selection of famed Sandos ($22+) accompanied by Togarashi Fries. Alongside lunches like Wagyu Burger ($28) and Fried Tofu Curry Rice Bowls ($22). Pair your brunch with signature coffees, sake, tea or even bubbles…the list is endless.
From 6pm, indulge on a range of authentic dinners. This menu features a selection of shared platters from small plates like Oysters ($26) to larger plates such as Steamed Red Snapper ($32). Equally, Wagyu lovers will enjoy MBS 6+ Wagyu Rib Cap ($28) with togarashi fries and watercress salad, to name a few.
Indeed, we can’t forget about the mouthwatering desserts. Think Kurozato Mochi Fried Doughnuts ($12) served with salted hokkaido milk ice cream and Warabi Mochi ($12).
