World-famous French pastry chef Cédric Grolet opened a patisserie in Singapore last September. Excitingly, it’s the first patisserie of the Cédric Grolet brand in Asia. Located at the new Como Orchard Hotel, the award-winning patisserie has expanded its culinary offerings with exclusive mooncakes just in time for the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024.
The Mooncake Collection
The mooncakes at Cedric Grolet are exclusive to Singapore. The collection features five innovative flavours, designed to bring a unique perspective to traditional mooncakes using Grolet’s signature pastry style, complete with a rare chocolate shell.
These exotic flavours are Coconut painted white with a thin chocolate shell and coconut gel, biscuit, cripsy, and ganache, as well as a green coloured Pistachio with a thin chocolate shell and pistachio fillings, and a brown coloured mooncake with Peanut and Banana ingredients. Plus, there’s a Raspberry Red mooncake and black coloured Peacan and Vanilla version with vanilla milk jam, pecan biscuit, and ganache.
The luxurious mooncakes are priced at $52 for a set of two. They are available for pre-order until September 27 and can be picked up from the COMO Orchard store between August 21 and September 29.
