The inaugural Merry Balloon Parade in Hong Kong is a groundbreaking celebration that promises to redefine holiday festivities in Asia. Inspired by the iconic giant balloon parades in the United States, this event gives locals and tourists a taste of the New York Thanksgiving Day giant character parades. Be dazzled by familiar cartoon characters taking flight over the HK’s famed skyline, discover interactive surprises around every corner, and more holiday cheer in a whimsical wonderland.
The highlight of the Merry Balloon Parade is the mesmerising procession of nearly 20 colourful, giant character balloons. It features icons from SpongeBob SquarePants, Paw Patrol, Toy Story, and more—flanked by floats, marching bands, and captivating performances through the city’s bustling streets and hidden corners.
