Jungle Ballroom, is a luxurious new cocktail bar, hidden inside boutique hotel Mondrian Singapore Duxton, by the renowned global hotel group Accor. The 5-star hotel made its Southeast Asia debut back in June in the charming neighbourhood of Duxton Hill near the Central Business District.
Jungle Ballroom Singapore
Opened until 2am, the newly-opened cocktail bar takes guests on a journey through the jungles of Southeast Asia. Expect an innovative beverages menu that incorporates blooms, spices, herbs, and fruity ingredients with Asian influences.
The hidden oasis is accessible by two secret entrances. One is behind a velvet curtain on the third floor of the hotel, while the other is through a secret garden tunnel wrapped in vines. Upon arrival, you’ll discover renowned bartender Adrian Besa and team, whipping up a glorious selection of exotic cocktails.
The cocktail lounge celebrates wild nature and is inspired by the sounds, sights, and mystery of tropical Asian jungles. It boasts lavish artwork, sleek finishing, and cosy furniture – offering a little piece of paradise for a quiet drink or date.
Menu
The menu reaches to the depths of the jungles, from the treetops to the forest floor, that once surrounded Singapore. Cocktails are colourful, tasty, come in quirky glasses, and infused with a range of Southeast Asian flavours.
Cocktail highlights include Queen of The Jungle ($26), with rye whiskey, herbaceous notes, green walnut, and New Orleans bitters, while pineapple rum-infused The Monkey Cup ($25) is perfect for those who like fizz with rose, apricot brandy and citrus mixed into it. Otherwise, go for a fruity Forest Floor concoction like How Doth The Little Crocodile ($26) with gin or a rich Ballroom offering such as The Fox’s Trot ($26) with rum, spiced pear, banana skin, and Malacca spice bitters.
Wonderfully, the non-alcoholic Faux ABV selection are perfect for those who don’t drink but would like to taste fruity and spicy cocktails. Be sure to elevate your cocktail experience with a range of Asian shared platters, from Crispy Spiced Chicken to Jungle Curry Lobster Roll, and Yellow Tuna Tartare, to name a few.
If cocktails aren’t your thing, don’t worry because there is a huge selection of spirits, wines, and other brews to enjoy.
