Singapore’s most iconic waterfront will once again be the heart of the nation’s New Year celebrations as Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2026 lights up the skyline this December. Presented by the Urban Redevelopment Authority and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, the month-long celebration marks the grand finale of SG60 with spectacular shows, immersive art, free concerts, and a stunning fireworks symphony to welcome 2026 in unforgettable fashion. Here’s what to look forward to at the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2026.
What can visitors expect at the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2026?
Visitors can enjoy a signature light projection on The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, Brightening Lives, that transforms the facade into a vibrant canvas of creativity and hope. Running nightly (8pm to 10.30pm) from December 26 to 31, this year’s theme Thriving Beyond Limits showcases the talents of artists with disabilities from ART: DIS. It features work that celebrates perseverance, inclusiveness, and Singapore’s collective spirit. Over at UOB Plaza 1, the Sharing Joy showcase will add another dazzling dimension to the skyline with artworks from ASEAN artists celebrating generosity and optimism for the future.
One of the main highlights is a magnificent 360-degree fireworks musical experience on December 31. Named ELYSIUM, the 1 hour-long fireworks show, will unfold across four segments from 11pm on New Year’s Eve. Certainly, it’s a must-see event to ring in 2026.

Meanwhile, Togetherland by World Christmas Market adds to the festive buzz and returns from December 11 to January 4, 2026. This year, it will be twice as big located at Bayfront Event Space. Expect a wonderful Christmas market filled with creative installations, food stalls, and cool attractions under the stars. Plus, local musicians take the free stage at Esplanade’s Come Together series throughout December 2025.
Additionally, visitors can see commissioned locally-inspired artworks around the bay such as Threads That Knit by Joy Koh and Koh Jun Kai’s Future Takes Flight, to name a few.
Definitely, Marina Bay promises to be one of the most dazzling places to end the year and start 2026.
