Interestingly, the massive 0.9 hectare integrated lifestyle hub spans a space larger than a professional football field. Plus, the 7-storey mega hub is set to become the North’s ultimate new hangout spot when it officially opens its doors in 2027. What’s inside Yishun’s massive new development?
The beloved 40-year-old development, which includes the old Chong Pang Community Club and Block 102 Yishun Avenue 5, will be taken over by this sleek new hangout spot named Chill @ Chong Pang in Singapore.
Wonderfully, the North’s newest playground will feature a modern Community Club, a refreshed market, and a huge hawker centre where you can still find all your favourite cheap eats—just in a much cooler, breezier setting. Meanwhile, fitness enthusiasts can enjoy three swimming pools, including an iconic rooftop pool with a water play zone, alongside a gym, fitness studios, and an indoor jogging track for those rainy days.
Additionally, shoppers can browser a range of new retail stores and a supermarket for extra convenience. Plus, there’ll be around 300 parking bays for cars.
Excitingly, we won’t have to wait too much longer for this iconic new lifestyle hub. Construction is currently underway with an expected completion in 2027. And once the new building is ready, the current stallholders will move into their shiny new home, and the vacated site of the old market and food centre will be transformed into a vibrant community plaza by 2028.
