1. Sapa, Vietnam
December and January are the coldest months of the year in Sapa in Vietnam, and sometimes snowfall occurs due to its elevation of nearly 2,000 metres in the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range. The snow transforms Sapa into an enchanting winter wonderland that feels like the snowy depths of Lapland. Popular locations to witness rare snowfall include various mountain passes such as Fansipan Mountain.
