Poisson is a vibrant new French-inspired seafood restaurant in a restored heritage shophouse in Singapore. Wonderfully, it was concepted by award-winning chef and restauranteurs Pierre Bolly and Geoffrey Weckx.
Located at Bukit Pasoh Road, the gorgeous restaurant features an aquamarine-inspired dining room with turquoise blue walls, leather blue chairs and stools and black fixes…it almost feels like someone’s swanky kitchen rather than a restaurant.
The extensive all-day dining menu specialises in fish and seafood inspired by various cities globally. Executive Chef Ma Yee Khang worked with Geoffrey to create a menu around top-quality premium fish and seafood that is authentically prepared with a creative Poisson twist.
The menu features a range of Cold Stream and Hot Stream dishes. For instance, the poached Boston lobster Sea-Wich ($43) and St Jacques ($28) a Hokkaido scallop ceviche are crowd-pleasers on the Cold Stream section. Meanwhile, the grilled tiger prawns Kurama ($33) and CROQ ($39) with grey shrimp croquettes on the Hot Stream section is the ultimate tasting experience.
Excellently, every Saturday they cater a delicious seafood brunch inclusive of free-flowing champagne and beverages for $148 per person. Think Lobster Dumpling, Haddock, Green Iceberg apple sorbet, to name a few.
Additionally, pair your seafood affair with a creative dessert or boutique wine and refreshing cocktail. With Colombian pink gin like Gin El-Salar and French wines and champagnes…you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Certainly, Poisson restaurant is a stellar experience in a stylish setting for seafood lovers. Plus, it’s totally instagrammable for those who love a good dinner selfie.
