Singapore Airlines low-cost branch Scoot partnered with The Pokémon Company to bring a thrilling and unique flight experience to travellers. On August 30, a new Pikachu Plane was unveiled at Changi Airport featuring an exclusive Pokémon themed inflight experience.
A custom-made, 345-seater Boeing 787 Dreamliner Jet created the Scoot X Pokémon livery. Decked out in flower petals and leaves on a white background alongside characters like Pikachu, Lapras and more…it will be hard to miss as it zooms through the sky.
Meanwhile, the interior of the Pikachu Jet TR is just as magnificent. Excitingly, it exhibits unique Pokémon character prints on seats and overhead lockers, Pikachu’s voice as part of inflight announcements as well as Pikachu-themed onboard amenities such as cups and Japanese meals in Pokémon boxes.
Additionally, the one-of-a-kind flight experience will feature surprises by staff and Pokémon Air Adventures merchandise like tote bags and quirky bucket hats that are perfect for festivals.
Scoot will operate immersive Pokémon-themed flights twice a month to Tokyo in Japan and Seoul in South Korea. At present, one-way tickets start at $231 Singaporean dollars.
Wonderfully, those eager for an adventure on the new Pikachu Plane in Singapore can book upcoming flights that start on September 9. Book tickets via the Flyscoot website.
