Mount Faber Leisure Group is celebrating the Mount Faber Line’s 50th anniversary, with the ultimate Pokémon adventure, in Sentosa.
Sixty seven cable car cabins are decked out in Pokémon-themed decorations, resembling floating Poké Balls zooming across the sky on both the Sentosa and Mount Faber Lines. The experience will be available from May 1. While it’s the first of many year-long unique experiences planned to commemorate the Singapore Cable Car’s 50 years in February 2024.
The Poké Ball cable cars feature five different and unique Pokémon interior designs. For example, the interior of each cabin boasts themes centered around first-generation Pokémon such as Eevee and Pikachu, alongside newer characters like Quaxly and Fuecoco. Plus, each cabin exterior features a quirky red and white design.
Wonderfully, fans of the brand can snap epic pictures atop Mount Faber Peak at a range of instagrammable photo opportunities. Meanwhile, the Cable Car Gift Shop is fully stocked with plenty of Pokémon collectables at Imbiah Lookout and Mount Faber Peak.
Additionally, you could be in with the chance of winning some attractive prizes by posting photos to Instagram or Facebook, using the hashtag #SGCableCar50 and tagging @MountFaberLeisure.
The immersive experience is available to the public from May 1. It will finish nearly five months after on September 30, 2023. Round trip tickets cost $35 for adults and $25 for children. Purchase a ticket via the Mount Faber Leisure website.
