Quay House is a beautiful new heritage restaurant, situated in the heart of Boat Quay Singapore, specialising in rich regional cuisine with a modern twist. It has been wowing customers since launching in December.
Diners can enjoy Asian fusion dishes that merge historic recipes and spices of the 1920’s Quay with innovative flavours, wood-fire cooking and ageing techniques, and a unique spin on that cuisine by Chef Keith Wan and his team.
Quay House boasts a stunning interior, with vintage teal wallpaper, old-age paintings, and wooden tables and chairs – creating a romantic ambience. Definitely, it’s a superb location to take a date or dine with friends. Plus, there’s a cool mini golf and escape room experience upstairs – so it’s perfect for a group dinner before some thrilling activities.
Menu highlights include a range of unique shared platters like Balinese Kampung Chicken ($36), starters such as Smoked Flying Squad ($24) and the vegan Burmese Tomato Salad ($16), mains from traditional Vietnamese stew Bo Kho Sticky Beef Cheeks ($45) to hearty Quay House Duck ($58), and plenty of side dishes.
The star of the menu for most customers has been the desserts. For instance, the vegan Egg Tart ($16) with toasted rice ice cream, topped with brown butter and 888 Chocolate ($14) are serious crowd-pleasers. Wash it all down with a selection of top quality coffees or those looking to spice things up some alcohol can select the perfect wine or signature and classic cocktail pairing.
