Household & Cost Of Living
The government is continuing its strategy to help offset inflation and GST costs with the following financial aid packages:
- $300 CDC Vouchers (January 2027): Every Singaporean household will receive these vouchers split equally between heartland merchants, hawkers, and supermarkets.
- Enhanced U-Save Rebates (January 2027): Eligible HDB households will receive this final enhanced tranche of rebates to help bills, possibly up to $190.
- GST Vouchers (August 2027): This cash payout lands in the bank accounts of eligible lower and middle-income citizens via PayNow.
Families & Kids
Additionally, there’s game-changing support packages coming for families with kids in 2027:
- SG Child Support Package (April 2027): This new financial aid is for every eligible Singaporean child aged 17 and below. It features a $10,000 Baby Gift for newborns and sustained $2,000 annual Child Credit from ages 1 to 16. When your teen turns 17, they’ll also receive a $10,000 PSEA top-up.
- Wider Preschool Subsidies (January 2027): From January 1, the gross monthly household income cap for means-tested preschool subsidies will jump from $12,000 to $15,000. This move will drastically lower infant and childcare fees for thousands of working parents.

Seniors & Caregivers
Next year, the government is majorly giving back to caregivers and older workers.
- Home Caregiving Grant (HCG) Expansion: Caregivers of individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism who have significant care needs will now qualify. Eligible households can receive up to $600 per month in cash payouts to offset care giving expenses.
- Migrant Domestic Worker Levy Concession: Families caring for eligible individuals will benefit from a heavily subsidized maid levy, dropping from $300 down to just $60 a month.
- CPF Boost for Senior Workers: To bolster retirement nest eggs, employer CPF contribution rates will increase in 2027 for senior workers aged between 55 and 65.
