New York Times, one of the world’s greatest newspapers, revealed its annual ’52 Best Places To Go’ list – and Singapore made the Top 10 travel destinations. It comes as no surprise since Singapore was named the 2024 World’s Best City, alongside being crowned with the world’s best roads, the most instagrammable place globally, among other rankings this past year.

The New York Times ’52 Places To Go In 2024′ ranked Singapore as the seventh best travel destination. According to the publisher, the modern cosmopolitan city-state of Singapore is a hub full of luxurious hotels, world-class architecture, innovation and sustainability such as landmarks like Changi Airport. Meanwhile, the list gives specific mention to the new and advanced Terminal 2 which opened in November.
Ahead of Singapore on the list are travel destinations including The Path of Totality which is the track of the moon’s shadow across earth between North America and Mexico, the French city of Paris, Japan’s Yamaguchi, specifically New Zealand by train, the island of Maui in Hawaii, and Arizona’s sacred ground in the Grand Canyon.
