Here’s why the exhibition is a must-visit in Singapore.
Why is Changi Airport’s free T5 Exhibition a must-visit in 2026?
The T5 In The Making exhibition is a self-guided, multi-sensory experience spread across five themed zones—allowing visitors to explore at their own space. The exciting exhibition traces Changi’s evolution from its early days to the massive Changi East development that will house Terminal 5 using interactive displays, experiential zones, and detailed scale models. Plus, the narrative is designed to make complex planning and engineering decisions accessible to everyday visitors, including families and aviation enthusiasts.

Additionally, the showcase dives into the hard questions of how airports of the future will run amid labour constraints, an ageing population, and climate change. Visitors can discover technologies being explored for T5, from advanced baggage systems and automation to video analytics, and artificial intelligence tools aimed at smoother aircraft turnarounds and better passenger flow. Plus, visitors can get a peak at sustainable features like a a large rooftop solar system highlighted as part of T5’s push to shrink its carbon footprint.
The T5 In The Making Exhibition is located at Changi Airport Terminal 3, Level 1 Arrival Hall, near the McDonald’s outlet. It opens daily from 10am to 8pm and an advised visit time of around 60 minutes is being encouraged.
