The Coconut Club relocated from their previous outlet at Ann Siang to a larger space at Beach Road.
The outlet acclaimed for Nasi Lemak is housed in a historic 3-storey shophouse, accommodating up to 100 customers. Additionally, the space is decked out in a tropical theme with bananas and coconut wall murals, communal tables for group dining, wooden furniture, hanging lamps, along with a open kitchen and an alfresco dining area.
Excellently, The Coconut Club is cooking up an even bigger feast than before with a new all-day dining menu featuring new breakfasts, lunches, dinners, cocktails and much more.
For breakfast, diners can enjoy Otah Katsu Sando ($7.80) or the chargrilled Kaya Toast ($6.80) with coconut jam, butter and boiled eggs. Complete your breakfast with a coffee or tea of choice for just $3 extra.
The star of the menu is of course the Nasi Lemak sets. Each set comes with a delicious portion of coconut rice, fried egg, anchovies, peanuts, cucumber and sambal. Menu highlights include Ayam Goreng Berempah ($18.80) consisting of spiced and fried organic chicken, Otah ($10.80) a charcoal-grilled fish cake dish and Ikan Bakar ($18.80) with stuffed Selar Kuning fish.
Starters such as Gado Gado ($12) or the yellowfin tuna dish Gohu Ikan ($16) are also crowd-pleasers. Otherwise, an array of shared platters have been added to the menu. With chicken, beef, lamb, veggie and seafood options…you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Appease your sweet tooth by finishing with a traditional dessert. Think Kueh Bakar Keledek ($9.80) which is a sweet potato cake, topped with coconut sorbet, Pandan Sago Gula Melaka ($21.80) made with one of our favourite gelato shops ice cream, Birds Of Paradise. Alternatively, purchase a whole cake such as Peanut Buttercream Cake ($60) to share with the group.
Wash it all down with one of their newest coconut cocktails. For example, the Pineapple Old Fashioned ($21) is made with refreshing scotch whiskey, pineapple skin syrup, Laphroaig 10 and coconut water.
With over 1600 positive google reviews, this famous Singaporean restaurant is unmissable this season.
