Marriott International has announced a new partnership with Frasers Hospitality to introduce The Luxury Collection to the heart of Singapore’s city centre. The property, currently operating as InterContinental Singapore, will soon transform to rejoin the portfolio as The Luxury Collection in January 2026. Interestingly, this development marks the arrival of the second Luxury Collection hotel in Singapore and the first right in the city’s vibrant core—promising guests a unique blend of local heritage and modern luxury. The upcoming new hotel sits within the iconic Bugis Junction mixed-use complex located in the bustling Bras Basah-Bugis Arts and Cultural District. Its prime position offers easy access to historic areas like Kampong Glam and Arab Street, while being directly connected to Bugis MRT Station, blending historic charm with modern energy seamlessly.
Additionally, the 5-star hotel will feature 406 spacious guestrooms and suites, alongside modern amenities like a fitness centre, an outdoor pool, six varied dining venues, a pool bar, and approximately 1,000 square metres of event space, including a grand 540-square-metre ballroom.
