Canada’s favourite coffee house, Tim Hortons, is launching in Singapore this year to the delight of coffee lovers.
Japanese trading company Marubeni Corporation confirmed the news, citing that an agreement to bring the brand to Singapore has been put in place with Tim Hortons owners, Restaurant Brands International, under the Singapore-based Marubeni Growth Capital Asia.
According to reports, the first Tim Hortons outlet will open towards the end of 2023 in Singapore. Meanwhile, hundreds of more outlets are expected to pop up across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia in the next decade.
Tim Hortons is known for a hearty variety of coffees, hot chocolates, snacks from fluffy donuts to sandwiches, warps and more bakery numbers – it’s a superb place to relax with a quick cuppa, or even get some work done.
Wonderfully, menus will be curated to match Singaporean taste. So we can expect some, potentially, never-seen-before items on the menus.
Founded in 1964, Tim Hortons has amassed more than 5, 300 stores worldwide to date, including in countries such as Spain, United Kingdom, United States, UAE, and China, to name a few.
