The largest and only underground immersive horror event in Singapore is launching this month just in time for Halloween 2024. Underground: The Summoning Dares You Not to Scream will run on selected nights from September 25 to November 3 in Singapore. Here’s what we know:
Underground: The Summoning 2024
Battlebox Singapore, Theatre of Wonder, and Super Productions teamed up to offer Underground: The Summoning this spooky season.
Singapore’s first and only experiential horror event to be fully hosted underground, is set in the historic Battlebox, an underground bunker spanning 12,000 sq.ft, beneath the Fort Canning district. The new attraction promises a terrifying theatrical adventure through the bunker, using World War II themed stories, where players will confront evil forces.
The 45-minute interactive horror event depicts a demon lord of war, Bellum, and his supernatural soldiers who are brought to life through actors and special effects. Groups of up to nine at a time will be challenged to defeat Bellum by collecting eight magical cards along the way and trying not to scream.
Don’t Scream Underground Challenge
Underground: The Summoning is hosting the Don’t Scream Underground Challenge from September 25 to 29. The winners of the contest will win round-trip tickets to Japan or additional prizes such as staycations. It involves groups of four finishing the labyrinth of terror with as few screams as possible. The first 20 groups to register will enjoy a 5-scream immunity pass – where no penalties will apply. Staff will record any screams made by the group.
Groups can register before September 18, using the 15% off promo code UGNOSCREAM, to participate. Sessions take place from 6.30pm on selected dates. Tickets begin at $53 per person. Get tickets here.
Certainly, this underground horror event is one of the best new things to do this Halloween for thrill-seekers who love a taste of horror.
