The cream-filled circle croissants, now available in Singapore, first originated in a French-inspired New York Bakery. Lafayette Grand Cafe and Bakery attracted the masses earlier this year, with people queuing hours to get a taste of their unique pastry, Suprême. And delightfully, a couple of Singapore-based bakeries have jumped on the trend.
1. Swish Rolls
Swish Rolls was the first to create a copycat of these drooling circle croissants in Singapore on September 9. Named Croons, indulge on generous size portions with flavours such as Loaded Pistachio, Crackly Sea Salt Butter, Summer Fruits, Ham N Cheese and Deep Dark Chocolate.
