Wunderground Festival, is a new immersive lifestyle festival, planned for the next three years in Singapore. Organised by Singapore Retailers Association with assistance from Invade, the first edition kicked off on September 21 at Emerald Hill.
The new festival features more than 70 exciting brands and brand collaborations, alongside a myriad of art installations, workshops, food and retail stalls, entertainment, and even a pet-friendly playground. Here’s what we know:
Wunderground Festival 2023
Wunderground Festival focuses on promoting cross collaborations of brands in Singapore for the first year. Visitors will see collaborations between major F&B and retail establishments, as well as fresh retail experiences, innovative products, and experiential brand initiatives from a wave of talent.
Popular F&B collaboration showcases include Komma x Prime, Acid Bar x Bols, POKKA x Poplab, and AtTea, to name a few.
Retail collaboration highlights include Dear Diary X Amble, Commune x Singapore Airlines, Ryde x Burpple, Play Line Friends, Gemstory x Heng Foh Tong, and more.
Meanwhile, visitors can satisfy every cravings with ice cream, OTT cookies, BBQ steamboat and hotpot, Spanish delights, Korean cheese stick coins from 2 Ninja 1 Fatty, fried chicken wings, meat dishes, Thai food, beers, cocktails, and so much more. Plus, a top brunch spot Wildseed Café and cheesecake place Cat And The Fiddle are popping up at the festival.
Be sure to shop till you drop between the eco-friendly skincare, home décor, fashion brands, and other cool merchandise from creators and designers.
Other attractions include a pet-friendly playground with a slide and photo booth to treat your dog to a wagging good time, as well as henna tattoos, workshops like perfume-making, live performances, tarot card readings, and interactive art exhibitions touching on subjects like fashion and climate.
Wunderground Festival runs in two parts this year. Until October 1, there’s The City Experience at 37 Emerald Hill. Meanwhile, The Heartland Experience is on at Tampines West from October 6 to 15. It kicks off at 3pm to 10pm weekdays and 12pm to 10pm over the weekends. There are no entry fees.
For Year 2, efforts will focuses on creating flagship go-to events for residents. Meanwhile, Year 3 will welcome international brands to the festival. Definitely, it’s one of the best things to do this weekend.
