Apricus Café is an Australian eatery concepted by one of the best brunch places, The Populus. Delightfully, it has been serving a range of unique all–day brunches to satisfied Singaporeans since its launch in July.
The new café at Sengkang is set in a large modern space complete with concrete grey and wooden walls, black and white tiling, fairy lights, plants and natural light shining through the ceiling. Plus, you can expect an extensive selection of mains, brunches, desserts and popular beverages with a unique twist like in The Populus.
Brunch highlights include The Populus Scramble which is a toasted croissant topped with creamy scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, feta and herbs, Spring Pancake Fried Chicken, the All Day Big Brekkie which is the closest thing you’ll get to a western breakfast, Norwegian Salmon Brown Butter Linguine, to name a few.
Certainly, some dishes are the perfect instagrammable foods to try in Singapore. For instance, the drooling Apricus French Toast with soft serve ice cream, flowers, fruits and sweet butterscotch sauce atop brioche toast is a serious crowd-pleaser.
Additionally, there’s plenty of shared sides like Truffle Fries with parmesan cheese and desserts such as Peanut Butter Jelly Sundae paired with Buttermilk Waffles to satisfy those extra cravings. Plus, caffeine lovers can get their fix of hearty coffees.
Definitely, Apricus Café is the perfect place to indulge on sweet brunches and breakfast as well as an excellent choice for group dining this weekend. Wonderfully, they are halal-certified.
