An elegant new rooftop restaurant, offering Southeast Asian cuisine with a contemporary twist, has come under our radar in Singapore. Atic rooftop venue is more than just a place to eat or drink: it’s an immersive experience that combines innovative cuisine and a stunning backdrop in a secret garden in the sky. Located at Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore, here’s what we know about Atic in Singapore.
Atic Singapore
The stylish rooftop dining destination, Atic helmed by Chef Newein Dolph Toolseram, is the perfect place to enjoy elevated Southeast Asian cuisine with a contemporary twist in Dhoby Ghaunt. The 110-seater venue blends sophistication and relaxation against the backdrop of the hotel’s chic rooftop pool area. It offers an alfresco terrace and indoor dining room.
Interestingly, the menu is a reflection of Chef Newein’s diverse cultural lineage weaving together Burmese, Chinese, Dutch, Thai, and Peranakan Hokkien influences. Meanwhile, he has a culinary backdrop in prestigious kitchens like Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay.
Plus, every dish at Atic tells a story which adds to the immersive element. From homemade spice blends to the freshest meats and herbs, Atic’s unique dishes are bold, balanced, and deeply satisfying.
Menu highlights include signatures like The Roti John which is an old-school, fluffy Hainanese bun made fresh daily by a heritage local bakery, must-trys like the meaty Pork Chop Baker, indulgent desserts, and sides such as chicken wings, to name a few. Plus, there’s an incredible weekday lunch set menu priced at just $17.90 from 12pm to 2.30pm. This deal includes a choice of comforting bases like egg noodles, roti john, or turmeric basmati rice, with premium proteins like crispy Brick Chicken, Fried Oyster Mushrooms, Grilled Tiger Prawns, and more, paired with three sauces.
Currently, Atic offers lunch and breakfast options but will expand to dinner services towards the end of the year. Certainly, it’s a wonderful place to unwind with friends, celebrate a special occasion like a birthday, or simply soak up the city’s energy.
