Wonderfully, a cool outdoor lantern installation has popped up in Singapore for limited time only. The instagrammable exhibition called Celestial Bodies will be on show until September 25 as part of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2022 outside Sun Yat-Sen Nanyang Memorial Museum.
Delightfully, the lantern installation was crafted with a helping hand by Taiwanese Kai 3D Art Studio and it is free admission. Explore five different zones on the lawn which include the Moon, Sun, Earth, Saturn and Mercury. Of course, the lantern installation pays particular homage to the Moon which is the biggest and brightest on the 15th day during Mid-Autumn Festival.
Meanwhile, the other planets around the Moon symbolise the celebration of family and friends coming together or the collective wish of Singaporeans to reunite during this period of COVID-19. Nevertheless, it’s an interesting thing to do this month and afterward you can tuck into the best mooncakes in Singapore.
