The LEGO Group unveiled Singapore’s largest LEGO® mural at the National Museum of Singapore to commemorate the nation’s 60th birthday. This monumental artwork, made from over 100,000 LEGO® bricks, measures 7 metres long and 2 metres tall, and features iconic moments and landmarks from Singapore’s rich history and culture. In fact, it has been certified by the Singapore Book of Records. The LEGO mural is part of an iconic LEGO exhibition in the Stamford Gallery. Although , it finishes on August 9 so you need to hurry! The Stories of Singapore: Building Our Heritage, Brick By Brick showcase is on display at the Stamford Gallery in NMS until August 9, 2025. It features intricate and colourful LEGO of iconic Singaporean landmarks and beloved local dishes. Plus, there are LEGO artworks by students of the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) that depict historic and modern scenes of Singapore River. Interestingly, the National Museum of Singapore’s LEGO® Mural is built with 265,743 LEGO bricks making it a record-breaking mural to see.

The broader LEGO exhibition features a range of LEGO creations, including models of landmarks like the Changi Airport Control Tower, Merlion, the Singapore Flyer, Singapore bumboats, HDB heartlands, as well as kaya toast, chicken rice, and more.

In an interactive twist, visitors are invited to add the final bricks to the mural themselves as a way to unite the community for SG60. Additionally, there are guided tours and hands-on activities like LEGO workshops for families and LEGO lovers.
