Few storybook characters tend to charm us quite like Paddington Bear. With his duffle coat, red hat, and endless stash of marmalade sandwiches…the polite little bear from Peru has long been a symbol of kindness, curiosity, and gentle mischief. Now, Singapore gets its very first taste of Paddington Bear’s world—not only through the pages of a book or on the big screen—but with an enchanting high tea experience above the city skyline. Running for an extended period until January 31, 2026, SKAI at Swissôtel The Stamford has transforms into a whimsical world of storytelling, food artistry, and nostalgia that fans of all ages won’t want to miss. Here’s what to expect at the first-ever Paddington high tea experience in Singapore.
Why is the Paddington High Tea unmissable?
The Paddington™ High Tea is brought to life by Executive Chef Seumas Smith and Executive Pastry Chef Yong Ming Choong—who reimagine the bear’s adventures in edible form. From the iconic red London buses to his marmalade sandwiches in a suitcase…you’ll be truly impressed by this themed high tea set against panoramic views of Singapore.
The charming high tea, in partnership with STUDIOCANAL Kids & Family Ltd, features Orange Marmalade Sandwiches served right out of Paddington’s iconic hat, alongside Cheese & Truffle Gougère glazed in vivid red to mirror his trusty hat. From Hot Smoked Salmon Rillette with caviar for a touch of London elegance to hearty Chicken Pie that nods to quaint British tearooms…every creation comes layered with playful details and culinary storytelling.

Additionally, the delectable desserts are just as delightful. There is Raspberry Battenberg Sponge topped with London’s famous red double-decker bus, a Hazelnut Praline shaped like Paddington’s suitcase, fruity Paddington Macaron, and a Golden Honey Brioche Sandwich with clementine marmalade that would make even Paddington beam. Plus, guests receive SKAI’s own artisanal orange marmalade as a keepsake.
Plus, there are items like Citrus Basil Sorbet with Earl Grey Tea and Orange Pomelo Salsa to complete the set. Meanwhile, the adorable afternoon tea is served alongside freshly baked warm traditional plain and raisin scones, homemade jam, and Devonshire clotted cream and butter, as well as TWG, gourmet coffee, or a choice of two handcrafted non-alcoholic cocktails.
Beyond Paddington High Tea dining, expect charming touches that bring Paddington’s London to life. Strike a pose upon arrival at the red photo booth, red bench, and iconic mailbox photo spot before heading up for your themed feast. Definitely, an instagrammable moment to say the least!

Guests have reviewed SKAI’s Paddington Bear High Tea as adorable, nostalgic, and totally instagrammable. Meanwhile, some social posts show it is attracting a mix of fans, families with children, girls for a ladies day out, couples on dates, and of course content creators.
