The American-inspired dive bar opened before Christmas last year. It exhibits an 80s theme with walls decked out in autographed posters and legendary musicians like David Bowie, car plates, guitar and neon light ups. It also features intimate leather retro booths, red lighting, disco lights and groovy music playing in the background – adding to the old-school theme. Surely, you’ll feel as if you’re in a nifty little off-the-highway bar in America.
Customers can enjoy a range of affordable drinks making it the perfect setting for a cheap night out, pit-stop before the nightclub or a date. For instance, high quality cocktails are priced at $19 or less. But every cocktail costs just $15 at Happy Hour daily before 8pm. While there’s plenty of inexpensive American pours, beers, wines and spirits to keep yawl going.
Crowd favourites include the signature Salty Sally, consisting of salted plum gin, lemon and egg white, the classic Highball and Negroni, and refreshing Funky Monk, with ginger beer, to name a few.
