From beautiful Disney-themed displays to old favourites, winter playhouses, and enchanting light-ups…the city has really gone all out this year. So, we’ve made it our mission to list 21 of the greatest Christmas lights displays in Singapore. Plus, there’s a couple of festive pop-ups on the list for some extra Christmas cheer.
1. Christmas @ CHIJMES x Capitol
CHIJMES and Capitol Singapore are back to bring authentic Christmas experiences until December 25. Expect from All That Glitter more than 50 festive European-style Christmas market and Kempinski Singing Tree at Outdoor Plaza, a Christmas Countdown Party on December 24, daily snowfall from 7pm to 10pm at both locations, projection mapping ay CHIJMES, a cosy movie under the stars, an Elf hunt, and so much more to delight your senses.

2. Candlelight Christmas At The Victoria Concert Hall
Experience the Victoria Concert Hall lit up by thousands of glittering candles this December 22! The festive Christmas Candlelight Concert will have carols from all your favourite Christmas movies played live by Vocalise String Quartet. Sing along to “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” or “Sleigh Bells” from Love Actually, Home Alone and more as you are washed in a soft golden glow. Mark your calendar for this extraordinary evening of festive enchantment at the Victoria Concert Hall, where the spirit of Christmas will be alive in every chord and candle flame!
3. Christmas Wonderland
The 10th edition of Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair, Christmas Wonderland, features a supersized fairground with a sensational array of light displays, new carnival games, festive activities, and even SNOW for the whole month until January 1, 2024. There are three fun zones including SuperTree Grove, Frosty’s Fairground at The Meadow, and Gingerbread Grove boasting beautiful light displays, a new 20-metre-long pirate ship, a sugar-themed space, and much more. 4. Christmas On A Great Street 2023
Expect beautiful Christmas light displays spread along 3.1km transforming Orchard Road until January 1, 2024. The 40th edition of Christmas On A Great Street, along Orchard Road, is much larger and merrier than previous years with three epic Christmas Villages, a 21-metre tall Louis Vuitton Christmas Tree at ION Orchard as part of the mall’s celebrations, the first-ever Christmas Eve Street Party, beautiful light-ups, and much more. 5. Olaf’s Royal Invitation
Paragon has teamed up with Hong Kong Disneyland to support the opening of World Of Frozen in Hong Kong. Here in Singapore, Olaf’s Royal Invitation is an immersive experience featuring a 6m high inflatable Olaf Invitation next to a photo wall along Orchard Road until December 26. Plus, there is Frozen-themed displays by Metro, a life-size LEGO Elsa, and other winter activities for all ages. Wonderfully, lucky shoppers are in with a chance to win tickets to Hong Kong Disneyland.

6. Christmas @ Jewel Changi Airport
Christmas at Jewel wouldn’t be complete without the annual festive lighting and decorations. From the dazzling Christmas light-up at Canopy park, to HSBC Rain Vortex Christmas Light & Sound Show, snow sessions, Super Mario attractions, and of course, the iconic 16-metre Jewel Christmas Tree at Shiseido Forest Valley…it’s the perfect excuse to head to the airport before December 31. 7. Tanglin Mall
Dreaming of a white Christmas? Swing by Tanglin Mall’s festive happenings to discover an annual larger-than-life bright Christmas tree and decorations. It’s one of the best places to see snow in Singapore this festive season. Stand outside the mall and feel as if you’re experiencing a white European Christmas in a far-flung destination. 8. Holiday Wonderland @ Suntec City
Until December 26, visitors can enjoy festive happenings with Line Friends at Suntec City. It features the largest LINE FRIENDS-themed mega ball pit with 4-metre tall slides, carnival with game booths and rides, live music, enchanting snow shows, and more. Definitely, one of the best Christmas pop-ups for children this season.

9. Changi Festive Village 2023
Step into a realm of candy to celebrate Christmas until January 1 at Changi Festive Village. Visitors can explore a whimsical world of candy through a variety of interactive zones including Candy Wonderland, a Candy Carnival, an all-new Candy Snow House that will transport you to Lapland to make sweet memories this season. 10. VivoCity
VivoCity has returned with an Artic-themed event, Frosty Holidays, for the Christmas season until December 25. Shoppers will be treated to a splendid 15-metre tall Christmas tree at Outdoor Plaza, as well as festive performances, twinkling lights, giant inflatables for children, water activities, and even a magical snow session daily.

11. Poinsettia Wishes – A Nordic Christmas Adventure
Poinsettia Wishes – A Nordic Christmas Adventure is on at Gardens By The Bay until January 1. Situated in Flower Dome, it’s one of the best things to do this Christmas with more than 20 varieties of poinsettias to wander during the day. Plus, you’ll spot Vikings in the form of cuddly Nordic elves, adorable miniature warriors, displays like a dreamy fishing village and enchanting Christmas trees, and more. 13. Christmas Wanderland @ Marina Square
Experience the spirit of Christmas at Marina Square from November 23 to January 1, 2024. The event features Sanrio characters taking you on a journey through a 5,000 square feet festive oasis with photo ops, activities, and other entertainment. Highlights include Sanrio characters, Christmas photo spots, Hello Kitty, a 6-metre tall Pink Christmas Tree, magical snowfall on a magical rink with Cinnamoroll, ball pit for children, art competitions, and much more.

14. A Very Smurfy Christmas
Until December 31, Quayside Isle has transformed into an enchanting wonderland with light installations illuminating the marina from 7pm to 10pm daily. Be hypnotised by the Smurfs-themed Christmas decorations, tree at Fountain Plaza, festive walkaways along the waterfront, meet-and-greet sessions with Smurfs, live music, and much more. City Square Hall is also hosting the same event with ig-worthy photo displays of blue Smurfs, Christmas lights to admire, trivia quiz, delicious festive treats, exclusive discounts, and more.

15. Wisma Atria
Celebrate the holiday season with more dreamy Christmas lights displays at Wisma Atria in Singapore. Until December 25, the mall will be turned into Aquatic Wonderland where visitors can be inspired by a Christmas-themed underwater world in collaboration with LASALLE College of the Arts with the winning design by Bae Kyungsoo. You’ll discover festive installations inside and outside the mall, as well as plenty of photo ops, live music, art exhibitions, and more.

16. Ice Magic: Winter Wonderland
This winter pop-up curated by Apollo Entertainment Media and Trident Consultancy returns on December 9. Ice Magic: Winter Wonderland is Singapore’s largest indoor winter pop-up experience at Bayfront Event Space until January 21, 2024. The touring winter playground spans a whopping 3,000 square metres and features a tall tent divided into snow and ice zones, offering snowy activities alongside a Winter Food Village, REAL SNOW, and an icy Arcade with games. 17. First Jo Malone Christmas Tree
Raffles City has unveiled the first Jo Malone London Christmas Tree and it’s absolutely stunning. The epic collaboration brings shoppers festive cheer with a beautiful Christmas Tree decked out with gingerbread men, whimsical carousel, oversized candies, candy canes, and atop a Jo Malone London gift box.

Resorts World Sentosa is the perfect place to take children this season. For 2023, Superstar Christmas offers music concerts, enchanting light displays like a 10m tall Christmas Tree of Wonders, art installations, snowfall, and more from December 1.
