Singapore remains the number one destination for Asian expats to live according to ECA International (ECA). Most liveable city worldwide – Singapore
The global mobility specialist – ECA – states that Singapore is the most liveable city for Asian expats for the 10th year in a row. ECA’s Location Rating assesses more than 500 cities worldwide over 10 years from 2013 to 2023. The latest report saw many cities climb or fall but Singapore remained on top. In fact, Singapore is the most liveable city globally since 2005.
The report is based on factors such as health, air quality, personal safety, climate, infrastructure, housing, access to social network and leisure facilities, to name a few. The low crime rates, excellent facilities, and lack of socio-political tensions make Singapore the most liveable location for Asian expats.
Overall, South East Asia has seen an improvement in transport, health, and recreational facilities in places like mainland China, Hanoi in Vietnam, Jakarta in Indonesia, and of course, Singapore.
