Australian tea lovers in Singapore will soon have one less place to get their brew, as iconic Australian retailer T2 Tea is closing all its Singapore outlets and exiting the market after nine years. The brand confirmed that its three T2 Tea Singapore outlets at 313@Somerset, VivoCity, and Suntec City will cease operations by the end of March 2026 when their current leases end. This marks the end of T2 Tea’s physical presence in Singapore, although shoppers can still continue to buy their favourite blends online. Here’s what we know.
Is this really the end of T2 Tea in Singapore?
The T2 Tea Singapore store closures affects all remaining outlets in the city-state. Every store is now running clearance sales with discounts starting from about 30 per cent, and in some cases going up to as much as 70 per cent off teas, teaware, and gift sets.
According to reports, all three stores are slated to close between March 20 and March 26. So you better hurry if you want to grab popular blends like Melbourne Breakfast and locally-inspired Singapore Breakfast with kaya toast flavouring.

Interestingly, this move follows earlier store closures in other markets like the United Kingdom, although no specific reason was given for the exit from Singapore.
T2 Tea first entered the Singapore market in 2017 with a flagship store at 313@Somerset. It then positioned itself as a modern specialty tea retailer with more than 100 blends and a strong gifting focus. Founded in Melbourne in 1996, the brand expanded across Australia and New Zealand before venturing into Asia.
