A magical highly-anticipated exhibition, dedicated to Disney, is making its Southeast Asia debut in Singapore this week. The Sands Theatre inside Marina Bay Sands will be transformed into a captivating world of Disney magic, where visitors embark on a magical once-in-a-lifetime journey through Disney’s best animated movies.
Immersive Disney Animation makes its first stop in Singapore from November 18 to December 31 – just in time for Christmas. Presented by Base Entertainment Asia in partnership with Disney Animation Studios, visitors can become part of the story and discover a whole new world of Disney animation unlike anything you have ever imagined.
The 90-minute exhibition celebrates 100 years of Disney magic with interactive galleries, playful activities, and 360-degree projections, alongside scenes, characters, and songs from more than 60 iconic Disney movies. Meanwhile, visitors can explore the art, music, and technology that brought the movies to life.

The magical exhibition is a 360-degree, multi-sensory experience that takes you inside your favourite Walt Disney Animation movies. From timeless classics to modern blockbusters, the immersive experience uses state-of-the-art projectors in millions of pixels to help you feel as if you’re part of the story.
From swimming along the ocean floor with Ariel, to singing along with Elsa in Frozen, witnessing the adventures of The Lion King, and so much more…this immersive experience makes the impossible feel possible.
First, visitors will follow a swirly wish trail through galleries to encounter exhibits from Walt Disney Animation Research Library. It features animator’s characters sketches, interactive drawing tables, time lapse creations, and information about animators behind the legacy.
The Bubble Tower boasts a 360-degree room to transport visitors to unforgettable scenes from the iconic Disney movies. From the Disney Renaissance era to recent blockbusters, the bubbly gallery is truly fascinating. Meanwhile, attendees will be treated to responsive floor projections that move in sync with them, as well as custom wristbands that illuminate based on a visitor’s movement.
Additionally, the exhibition pays tribute to the extensive legacy of Walt Disney Animation. So visitors will get a behind-the-scenes look at how the movies were brought to life with a range of interactive activities. Plus, you can gain new perspectives on artistry and creativity through learning experiences about the world of animation.
How to get tickets
Tickets for Immersive Disney Animation in Singapore range from $33 to $73. There are nine time slots throughout the day from 10am to 10pm from November 18. Tickets can be purchased via Marina Bay Sands or SISTIC.
Immersive Disney Animation premiered in Toronto in December 2022. Since then it has been presented in more than 13 North American cities, as well as a stint in Tokyo. Certainly, you can’t miss it when it pops up in Singapore.
