Australian cult-favourite Yo-Chi has swept Singapore, drawing consistent queues and loyal dessert fans since its debut at Orchard Central last year. With three outlets already operating across the island and another opening at i12 Katong soon, the brand’s signature DIY frozen yoghurt bowls have become a definitive staple in the local dessert scene. And if you’re planning a year-end trip across the causeway, you won’t have to leave your froyo fix behind, because the first Yo-Chi in Malaysia opens in December 2026. Here’s what we know.
What to expect at KL’s Yo-Chi outlet
Malaysia’s very first Yo-Chi is officially opening its doors in Kuala Lumpur this December. While the exact KL location, opening date, and Malaysia-specific menu are still under wraps…the highly-anticipated launch marks a major expansion for the brand.
For Singaporeans heading to Kuala Lumpur to shop and unwind during the Christmas holidays, this means you can enjoy your favourite dessert bowls right in the Malaysian capital.

The massive appeal is the self-serve format, where diners pay by weight around $3.50 per 100g. After swirling up bases like the Signature Tart or Salted Butterscotch, customers hit a sprawling toppings counter. The spread includes fresh fruit, brownies, chewy mochi, and a highly popular warm drizzle bar featuring peanut butter, Biscoff, and Nutella on tap.
Interestingly, Singapore was the first international outlet launched outside Australia in August 2025. Building on this success, the brand took its signature frozen yogurt global with its first UK venue in London’s Notting Hill recently, alongside its continued growth in Southeast Asia. Keep an eye for updates as December approaches.
