Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced today that all Singaporeans aged 18 and above will receive $100 in credits under the SG Culture Pass. This new initiative is part of the Singapore Budget 2025 and aims to foster natural pride and strengthen cultural bonds as the nation celebrations its 60th year of independence. Singaporeans aged 18 and above can use the SG Culture Pass credits to attend local arts performances, museums, exhibitions, heritage experiences, learning tours, and interactive workshops. This programme is part of a broader SG60 Package introduced into the 2025 Singapore Budget to commemorate the nation’s journey since independence. Meanwhile, it reflects the government’s commitment to investing in Singapore’s cultural core and encouraging citizens to engage with the nation’s rich artistic and historical heritage.
The SG Culture Pass credits will be available from September 1, 2025. Wonderfully, these credits will remain valid until December 31, 2028. Therefore, arts and cultural activities will be more accessible to Singaporeans. More details on how to claim these credits will be released soon by the Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth.
