The Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) and Plaza Singapura teamed up to offer a pink-themed, month-long Christmas party along Orchard Road. From November 22, Plaza Singapura will be home to the first-ever pink festive lights show, spread across 170-metres of Orchard Road, as well as Singapore’s first and largest ice cream-inspired igloo, alongside other Christmas festivities. Here’s what we know about A Sweet Christmas at Plaza Singapura:
A Sweet Christmas
Visitors to Plaza Singapura along Orchard Road can experience the magic of Pinkmas this season. A Sweet Christmas is a magical Christmas event supported by Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
Plaza Singapura’s frontage on Level 1 will be transformed into a magical pink wonderland until December 25. The event will feature pink lights adorned on every tree, vibrant pink Christmas trees, eye-catching decorations, a life-size twinkling snow globe at the heart of the first-ever ice cream Igloo, as well as a stunning Igloo Sprinkle Pool to dive into.
The dazzling pink-themed Christmas lights show takes place every Friday to Sunday from November 22 to December 15. After this, the Christmas light show will be on every evening from December 20 to 25 at 7.30pm, 8.30pm, and 9.30pm.
Other Christmas experiences
The Christmas festivities don’t end there because there will be exciting workshops such as crafting your own gifts or Dessert Squishy Painting, a magical Pinkmas Forest to stroll through, and captivating neighbourhood wide activities. Plus, you can use a QR code to project your festive wishes and greeting across the event grounds.
The twenty minute workshops take place only at the weekends every Saturday and Sunday until December 25. The times vary between 1pm and 9pm. Each workshop costs $15 per person.
Additionally, visitors can enjoy Christmas food and festive treats such as Brown Butter Ice Cream and dairy-free options such as Strawberry Sorbet with Gold Glitter. Meanwhile, shoppers stand a chance to win prizes at the event. Overall, the A Sweet Christmas event will be a memorable experience. Plus, the pink festive lights will be the perfect backdrop for photos.
