Do you want free money? The Government of Singapore is celebrating the nation’s 6oth year of independence by rolling out the highly-anticipated SG60 vouchers this month. As of July 1, all Singaporean seniors aged 60 and above (born in 1965 or earlier) are eligible to claim $800 worth of SG60 vouchers. Meanwhile, Singapore citizens aged 21 to 59 (born between 1966 and 2004) will receive $600 worth of vouchers from July 22, 2025. This initiative, part of the broader SG60 package announced in the Budget 2025, aims to recognise the contributions of Singaporeans and support local businesses. Read on to find out more and how to claim your SG60 vouchers.
Singapore Government SG60 vouchers
The SG60 vouchers are a one-off benefit, distinct from the regular CDC vouchers, and are distributed to individuals rather than households. The vouchers are valid until December 31, 2026, and can be spend at more than 23,000 participating heartland merchants, hawker stalls, and eight major supermarket chains across Singapore. Additionally, half of the Singapore government vouchers value is allocated for use at supermarkets, while the other half is for heartland shops and hawkers—to ensure broad support for both daily essentials and local businesses.
How to claim SG60 vouchers
Seniors can now claim $800 worth of SG60 vouchers. Meanwhile, Singapore adults can claim from July 22, 2025. Vouchers can be claimed digitally via RedeemSG using Singpass, or you can seek assistance at community centres and clubs. Plus, the government sent out commemorative SG60 postcards to eligible citizens, featuring iconic Singapore landmarks, and a QR code for easy voucher redemption. Therefore, the claiming process is more accessible for those who may find difficulty. Find out if your eligible for SG60 vouchers here.
As of July 3, more than 450,000 Singaporean seniors—over 40% of those eligible—have already claimed their SG60 vouchers. The strong response among seniors highlights both the effectiveness of the outreach efforts and enthusiasm among the public to benefit from this special initiative.
The next phase, beginning July 22, is expected to see a surge in claims from the adult population. In fact, three million Singaporeans are set to benefit from the Singapore Government SG60 vouchers overall.
